Overview

With the astonishing landscape enormously rich in natural world, the Jim Corbett national Park is most famous for being the pioneer in the save tiger project and having the first tiger reserve forest in India. Many thousands of travelers visit this national park each year in the quest of taking an adventurous forest safari and sighting a tiger in its natural habitat at a close distance. however, the visit to this pleasant forest is not restricted to the adrenaline speeding sight of a tiger, but also a paradise for the bird enthusiasts as well. The various tourism zones of the Corbett national Park are the home to a wide kind of bird species which incorporates beautiful local birds in addition to exotic migratory birds.

The Corbett Park gives safe haven to more than 550 species of birds and known as one of the richest bird areas in India. The Birdlife international declared this park as the “important bird area:” (IBA) for being the habitat to such large number of bird species. The few of the prominent chicken species which includes Collared falconet, great Hornbill, great Slaty Woodpecker, Pallas’s Fishing Eagle, Lineated Barbet, Spot-bellied Eagle Owl, Pin-tailed green Pigeon, red-headed Vulture, Racket-tailed Drongo, Broadbill, and so on. are the real pleasure for the birdwatchers.

Day 1 :

Arrive Corbett National Park

Our tour services start with your arrival at the resort. Welcome drink on arrival, complete check-in formalities and relaxation for some time and have your lunch. After leisurely lunch if you like to explore the Corbett locals of your own then you may visit Dhangarhi museum or famous Garjia Devi Temple. In the evening return back to the wildlife resort and later have your dinner and get prepared for the next day morning safari. Our representative will give you the full briefing about the safari.

Day 2 :

Corbett National Park (Morning and Afternoon safari)

Today we geared up for our first morning safari in Corbett National park. We enjoy our safari along with bird watching in Corbett after spending nearly 03 hours of safari we drive back to our resort for the breakfast. After lunch we proceed for another Jungle safari. After safari we drive back to our resort.

Day 3 :

Corbett to Pangot

After breakfast we drive 03 hours to Pangot. Pangot is a beautiful Hill station with a very rich natural landscape. Upon arrival transfer to wildlife lodge. After lunch visit at the Kilbury Bird sanctuary and enjoy the birding. Later return back to the lodge.

Day 4 :

Pangot

Full day to explore this beautiful area and experience the bird life at Naina peak, Kilbury and Timla Pani. The Pangot village is a beautiful small settlement in Nainital wherein you can enjoy the long wlks into the dense forest. The main attraction of Pangot are its birds; around 580 bird species have been recorded in this area. One can see a variety of Himalayan species along the way such as lammergeier, Himalayan griffon, blue-winged minla, spotted & slaty-backed forktail, rufous-bellied woodpecker, rufous-bellied niltava, khalij pheasant, variety of thrushes etc.

Day 5 :

Depart Home
