Nepal being well known for its mountains that makes its very popular amongst the trekkers. But besides the trekking there are lots of other things one can explore in Nepal. This customized itinerary of 05 days is the perfect vacation for a family and loved ones. This programme will give you a glance a rice diversity of Nepal. The tour starts from Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. Kathmandu many Religious sites and the renowned one is Pashupatinath temple. Then drive to Chitwan National park. It is the most popular national park of Nepal as it contains very unique and rare species of wildlife found nowhere else in Nepal. After exploring this beautiful park drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. A day excursion to Srangkot. Sarangkot is known for panoramic Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. It also provides an expansive view of the city of Pokhara, from the extreme north to the south including the Phewa Lake. The best way to wind-up this tour is visiting the Pashupatinath temple in the early morning and later explore the Tamel market before boarding the homeward flight.

Itinerary

Depending on Arrival time, if arrive Kathmandu at day time then we'll visit Swayambhunath Stupa & evening time visit to Ason local Market. But if arrive night time then we’ll visit this place on 2nd last day.
Swayambhunath is one of the most popular and picturesque temple in Kathmandu. Sitting atop a hill, from here you can see the whole Kathmandu valley. The temple is surrounded by a mini forest in which there are several monkeys (non- aggressive), so it’s also called monkey temple. Ason Market is renowned for authentic local market. Here you can find all kinds of local products (some selling on baskets). On the surrounding there are several mini temples and some old houses and narrow alleys. It could be very interesting place for foreigners

Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari, Dug-out Canoe, Jungle Walk, Elephant Breeding Centre & Cultural Show.
Chitwan national park is the first established national park in Nepal and listed in UNESCO World Heritage site in a natural category. The national park is famous for one-horned Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tiger and superb sunset.
Today you’ll be in a Safari Mood and your eyes would be looking for all those wild animals eg. One-horned Rhinoceros, Deers, Sloth Bears, Leopards, Birds and a rare Bengal Tiger.
Evening we’ll visit Sunset point to watch fantastic view of Sunset over Rapti River.
After dinner you can join the dance with the local ethnic people performing cultural show.

Overnight at the Hotel.

Drive to Pokhara (4hrs something). Visit to World Peace Stupa, Devi’s Fall, etc. Boating on Fewa Lake at Sunset time.
It would be a comfortable and scenic drive to Pokhara. After some rest we’ll visit World peace stupa, water fall and evening Fewa Lake with some boating.
Pokhara is a very beautiful town, Himalayan range on the backdrop.

Overnight at the Hotel

Sarangkot Sunrise in the morning. It would be 6hrs something scenic drive to Kathmandu. After check in hotel, freshen up and some rest we’ll visit Pashupatinath for the Aarati.
Early morning we’ll be visiting Sarangkot to watch the Superb Sunrise, sunlight falling over the Himalayan Range making it golden color.
The drive would be very scenic and it’s a mountain road. The road goes along the Marsyangdi River and Trisuli river. We’ll have lunch on the way to Kathmandu.

Overnight at the Hotel

Early morning we’ll visit Pashupatinath for the Worship. And after breakfast will visit Thamel or Ason Market.
Pashupatinath is the one of the holiest Temples in Nepal and most worshiped by Hindu people. The temple is just beside the holy river Bagmati. Every evening there is Aarati bhajan. You can sit beside the river listening and watching the ceremony which makes you to forget all the sorrows and brings you peace of mind.
Afternoon or late afternoon (depending on your flight schedule) we’ll transfer you to the Airport to say, “SEE YOU AGAIN!!”

What is the best time to visit Nepal?

The best time to visit Nepal is between October and December, when the skies are a clear blue and the views spectacular. The weather remains dry until about April, with temperatures varying between regions. January and February can be very cold, especially at night

As Indian can I travel to Nepal with my Aadhar card or driving license?

No. We need a document that exclusively proves your nationality. Hence, you need to produce either valid Indian Passport or Election Card (issued by Election Commission) to enter into Nepal.

I am an Indian passport holder. I am travelling to Nepal with two kids below 12 years. They do not have passport. What should I do?

Minors of an Indian passport holder (if accompanied by their parents) can travel to Nepal with their Student Identity Card or Birth Certificate.

What is the timie of morning and evening aarti at Pashupati nath ji temple?

Morning Aarati is between 06.30-07:30 AM. The evening Aarati is Between 5:30-6:00 PM. The time may change a bit. The evening Aarati on the other side of the Bagmati River is the most beautiful.

Is there any dress code for the temple for men, women and and small girls ?

Yes, cover your knees and your shoulders. You will have to remove your shoes in all temples and in some you need to cover your head, this is mostly Sikh temples, however, and head coverings eg: bandanas are provided if this is the case. Only Hindus are allowed in this temple.
