Mussoorie which is popularly named “the queen of Hills” is one of the most romantic, historical and mesmerizing places one can find on the planet. Mussoorie is one of the summer hideouts for the Britishers in the bygone era. Today Mussoorie is the hot destination amongst the Indian. This makes Mussoorie today a very busy and crowded place. To give you the loving experience of Mussoorie but in a very peaceful and isolated manner, we have designed an offbeat tour with a hike that will keep you in Mussoorie but away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. In this programme, you will visit Mussoorie and in the evening you will walk for 30 minutes to a very beautiful camping ground. Here you will be all alone and can relish the beauty and calmness of Mother Nature. The next day you will have two options either to walk to Benog or to walk to the source of Kempty fall. The camp is situated amidst the beautiful pine forest. The place rewards you with beautiful birdlife and scenery. Day 1 :

Arrive Mussoorie – Campsite (1700 meters)

Arrive Mussoorie in the forenoon. Explore all the sites of Mussoorie. Later in the afternoon, 15 minutes drive to Happy Valley. From here you will walk for 30 minutes to the campsite. In the evening enjoy the snacks with tea and coffee and later enjoy the bonfire followed by the delicious dinner. You will get the briefing for the next day trek from the Instructor.

Day 2 :

Campsite – Benog (2250 meters)– Campsite or Trek to Source of Kempty Trek

Today you have a choice either trek to Benok or trek to the source of Kempty
Option one “Benog trek” – the trek starts with 1.5 hours of gradual walk in the forest of pine, deodar and rhododendron trees, later the trails become slightly steep nearly 02 hours along with the stream to Benog hill. Surrounded by the beautiful Doon valley to the south, the rich Yamuna to the west, the enchanting Mussoorie hills to the east, and the mighty Himalayas to the north, Benog Hill offers panoramic views of nature’s finest scenes and leaves you in admiration.
A small temple dedicated to Jwala Devi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga stands at the peak enhancing the beauty and calm of the place. After spending some time trek back to camp.

Option two “Source of Kempty fall” – The walk is all downhill to the source of Kempty fall which will take nearly 1.5 hours. This place is perfect for the picnic lunch and to dip in a natural water pool. After spending some time and lunch we trek back from the same route to our camp. It will take nearly 2 hours.
After reaching the camp you will be served a round of snacks with tea and coffee. Later in the evening bonfire followed by dinner.

Depart Mussoorie

After breakfast depart the campsite and Mussoorie. Take all the beautiful memories of this tour in your heart and mind.
