Overview

A very beautiful circular trek with short drive and give you all the thrills of adventure. Nagtibba trek is very delightful trek which is amongst the beginners and professional trekkers. The trek is easy to moderate. Nagtibba mean the serpent peak. On the summit of the Nagtibba is a temple. From the summit of Nagtibba the breathtaking view of higher Himalaya includes Bandarpoonch Peak, the Gangotri Peaks, Kedarnath Peak, Changabang Peaks, and the Doon Valley. The valley is full with flora and funna. An incomparable beauty of landscape will be visible while descending down from the summit. The valley is dotted with some picturesque t villages and extremely beautiful Deodar forests and beautiful scenery will welcome you warmly and they will give you the refreshing atmosphere to make your tiredness.

Day 1 :

Day 01 Arrive Dehradun - Pantwari - Nagtibba base camp (2650 meters) DRIVE/TREK

Arrive Dehradun in the morning drive 03 hours drive brings us to Pantwari on the way we shall make a stop for the breakfast. Arrive Pantwari where we meet our trekking staff and from here we commence our trek passing through beautiful forest overlooking beautiful valleys dotted with various villages. This lovely trek is on the north side of Mussoorie hills known as Jaunpur. Basically the shepherds from the valley come over here at the start of spring to worship the local deity. Today we trek 4 hours and it is mainly gradual uphill. Upon arrival we camp in the dense forest and the camp is absolutely in perfect setting at an altitude of nearly 2650 meters with a water source nearby

Day 2 :

Day 02 Nagtibba base camp - Nagtibba summit (3020 meters) - Unnthar TREK

One and a half hours uphill trek takes us to Nagtibba situated at an altitude of 3000meters. Nagtibba is probably the only place in the central part of the Himalayas from where you have views of high Himalayas in all directions which includes Swargarohini, Ranglana, Banderpoonch, Shrikantha, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Dunagiri, Chaukhamba and Kinnaur valley. It is truly a heaven into the earth. All the High Himalayan peaks seem to be surrounding us from all the direction. These peaks are between 5500 meters to 7500 meters. We spend couple of hours at this beautiful place before descending down to our camp at Devalsari. Today the total walk is going to be approximately between 6 to 7 hours altogether but only the first 1.5 hours is uphill and later it is either downhill or fairly leveled path.

Day 3 :

Day 03 Unnthar - Road head TREK / Drive

2 to 3 hours trek to the road head of village Dugada and then 04 hours drive brings us to Dehradun.
